I bet Dana wouldn't have done this if it was an American white guy who had messed up. (See: Sean Sherk)

Meh, I posted without thinking it through. If Sherk's wins his appeal, it is clear that he did no wrong, so that whole thing is sort of up in the air and punishment being levied out now would be premature. It's pretty clear that Babulu did what he did and admitted to it. I still don't think he should be punished that much for it, though.

well from the info out there, i don't recall any commission ever overturning an initial failed drug test.

So it seems like a foregone conclusion at this point. Which sux, cuz i like sherk, but i'm not optimistic about his case.

Even if they find fault in the supplements, and was unknown to him, he's not totally excused for that reason.....i think they may just be a bit more lenient on the suspension (from what i remember reading a few weeks back anyway)

This is actually a really good idea. That I would like to see.

I think Gonzaga is good, but I don't think he is a worldclass A level fighter, maybe a B or a B+. Whereas I think Cro-cop definitely is.

Cro-cops next fight should be against Gonzaga, if he can't beat him this time, he doesn't deserve a shot at the title, and if he destroys him, which I think he will, then it sets the seen for a really great fight with Randy.

I'm not condoning what Babalu did, but the simple fact is that if he'd kept his yap shut there would have been no punishment and no uproar because he didn't hold the choke any longer than many others have.

The fact that he did it maliciously is of course deplorable.

Patrick Cote Vs. Kendall Grove - Kendall. His striking is pretty good and I think he can drag Cote into a striking match.

Holy crap I did a bad job calling these.

No, no, you are doing it all wrong. You are not supposed to admit that this time round you didn't get 100% picks.

What you are supposed to do, is try and say why the fighters you picked actually should have won, and then hug tighter to their nuts than ever.

I'll help you get started, Gonzaga got his nose broken, and it is harder to fight with a broken nose then a broken arm, besides he beat Cro-cop, so he is obviously as good as his second last fight, and he was 2 -3 ounces heavier, he was worried about Hurricane Bob, and all his training partners suck, Therefore QED Gonzaga rocks.

GSP had more skills and strength then Kos, but if Kos was 6 inchers taller, and could bench 50 lbs more and had a quicker left jab than he would have won for sure.

Now you try........ it is fun for the whole family.

Kos didn't beat Diego. Diego beat Diego. That was such a terrible fight. All they did was dance around each other. I would have awarded the win to a random audience member. Neither of them deserved anything after that crap they pulled.
