    Canvas vs Vinyl Heavybags

I am looking into purchasing a heavy bag to improve my craptacular striking, is there a big difference between vinyl and canvas? Canvas seems the rarity when visiting local sports retailers.

vinyl is better. Canvas will shred your knuckles, knees, elbows, shins, and feet. Most people only wear gloves when working out on the bags, so your knuckles might not be an issue, but any other strike is subject to having your skin shredded off.

However, if you can afford it, leather bags are the best. They are typically a bit pricier, but well worth the expense if you have the money. They last FOREVER

Thanks Khun, the primary reason I was considering Canvas was because I heard it lasts longer than Vinyl and if its used outside, it will survive getting wet.
