There's a KUPSO club near me. I'd never come across it before. The search function on this site gets no matches, wikipedia has nothing and a google search brings up club home pages mainly in Scotland.
Anyone know more about it?

Kupso comes from korean for pressure point and is a federation long established in UK by its founder Allan Buchan who few years ago emigrated to Australia. He is the high dan holder of various styles including Jiu-Jitsu (Ao-Denkou-Jitsu is a sub-style focusing on a use of pressure points within jiu-jitsu), Tae-kwan-do, Chun-do-kwan, Tai-Chi. Kung Fu etc etc . Allan Buchan is also a long time practitioner of various stiles of Penjak Silat which is quite comprehensive by itself.
I used to be his sudent in Scotland and he is a good teacher and person. Don't miss an oportunity to meet him and study under him. Greetings from Edinburgh!

Initially, students learn the basics through Ao Denkou Jitsu, TaeKwon Do, Chinese Kickboxing and Karate. Those students that reach advanced levels (Black Belt) are introduced to South East Asian and Chinese Arts not readily available to the public. These include Silat, Kuntao, Kali, Bagua, Five Animals and Five Ancestors Systems. How many organisations offer this much additional training to Black Belts?
