Seriously, I'm still waiting for footage of an art other than Tai Chi to be posted winning a fight other than one where the Baji proponent horribly outclasses his opponent in size and strength. I know it exists.

Honestly, it will be hard. Most sanda schools have 3 or four different arts being taught. So, you can't exclusively say hey thats pure xingyi there or whatever art.

    I'll keep looking.

I like the idea of trying to set up more of a general reference section for examples of techniques and principles. I will try to get some videos up doing that. As mentioned, though, I do have a video of an old match against a shuai jiao guy. Be nice, I'd only been practicing throwing for a few months.

****, how do you embed video again?

This embed doesnt seem to be playing, mind posting a link?

Dig the takedown at 4:28. looked like the cleanest one of the bunch.

Dude in blue sure slowed down circa the 3 minute mark.

I'll see if I can dig up my original post later for a better description. What happened was they looked at me like I had poop in my pants when I told them I did tai chi. I'm pretty sure that the guy I fought was all like "Hurr! I'mma kick me some chai ti ass!" But all that work plumb tuckered him out!

Ohh that takedown. I assumed you'd be talking about the big throw. That, my dear, is the answer to an outer-reap with no off-set. I teach that one to guys at BJJ as a first "throw" because it's so common at a beginner level and so easy to counter.

I think I actually did that to a girl at NAGA. She tried to go behind my leg and hook it but I had stronger base and just took her right down like you did there.

Edit: haha, ashly just reminded me that when that happened I took the girl down really hard and made a big boom, appologized instantly and then proceeded to take mount as she said no problem.
