Eduard Folayang (9-1-0), one of the best MMA fighters in the Philippines, comes from Team Lakay, a wushu school that has produced a number of capable fighters.
Mr Folayang has won many international wushu competitions, including gold medals in the last two South East Asian Games, a silver medal in the 2006 Doha Asian Games, and bronze medals in both the 2005 World Wushu Championship and the 2002 Busan Asian Games. Fighting as a lightweight, he's taken the championship belts in his country's lightweight and welterweight divisions as well as beaten the middleweight champ.
