    Powerlift Stats (part 2)

    Correction -> "Powerlift Stats"
Yes yes I know I already posted something by this title and I'm sorry. I forgot to include the age of each person, and to add powerclean weights.

Would everyone post their weights of Deadlifts, Squats, bench, powercleans, and be sure to include your age.

    My stats:
    Deadlift: 285lbs x 3
    Bench: 165lbs x 8
    Squat: 205lbs x 8
    Powercleans: 145lbs

    Age: 18

    Sorry for the repost.

    Powerclean isn't a powerlifting movement.

Is there any real reason you're gathering all this data again?

And what Emevas said. A power clean (aka clean and jerk) is a olympic lift, not a powerlift one. Perhaps you should use the more generic term "weight lifting" in this data-collecting crusade of yours.

You also forgot to include height and weight, which are also factors. :BangHead:

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

In case you missed it, I pulled those numbers out of the air. Nobody else in this thread will, so don't worry Sev.

Real answer: 5'9" 215 lbs (after a good ****), 31 years of age.

Deadlift is the only lift on that list I regularly do. I don't measure my 1rm, I usually just gradually add weight when I can do a final set (out of 3-5 sets) of 6 reps cleanly.

Last workout I did 280lbs for 4 sets of 6 with 1 minute rest between.
An online calculator tells me that 6 reps of that weight puts my 1rm at about 325lbs.

Maybe I could do more, but I'm happy to stick in the 4-6 rep range because it feels safe and I still see gradual progress at the moment.

And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".

    My PR's were

    Bench-345
    Squat- 315
    Dead-465

    5'11" @175

I los a good bit of that now that I have been doing fight prep, more cardio and conditioning.

I can still hit a 405 dead easy, a 275 bench no prob, and a 245 front squat, I have stopped back squatting.
