You said you were going to fight last Friday or Saturday. What happened? Did you win lose or draw, or did the guy not show up?

Based on his avatar, I'm assuming ref stoppage or tap out due to strikes.

That's kind of what I thought, but I just wanted to make sure....

I found this on Sherdog by chance and figured who else named Neal Fletcher was fighting? Must be ours. Here is the post of the guy who fought him.

Came out, touched gloves and circled before getting right to it. He got the better of the first exchange, and the second... :D Clinched up and he landed a pretty good knee to my ribs. We broke and threw a few more punches. He went for a standing guilloteine choke that wasn't very tight so I popped out. Came back in, and he threw a knee that I caught and took him down. I was then in his guard.
Took my time on the ground, I started working him over to the cage and postured up. Took my time finding my shots (too much time) and also took a quick breather. Ref warned us he would stand us up if I didn't stay busy. I didn't want that at all, so I started letting the hands go. Hit him with a BIG right that seemed to stun him pretty well. He turned over to his right side and I hopped out of guard, into side mount. I hit his body a few times and then reared back and unloaded a knee into his body. He rolled over onto his back and I landed a few more hits to his head.
Then I heard the ref tell him to protect himself otherwise he was going to stop the fight. At that point I started swinging like mad and landed a few really good shots. I think one of the big lefts broke his nose, but shortly after that the ref called it. I won at ~2:40 into round 1. TKO due to strikes. I was exhausted. I now have a much better idea of the conditioning required for the next one of these.
Neal Fletcher Vs Ted Kuether
Kuether gets the takedown to start the bout trying to get past Fletcher's guard, but Fletcher pulls him in tight. Kuether lands some body shots trying to make room for ground and pound. Kuether lands a solid right, left combination forcing Referee Bud Johnson to step in for a closer look as Fletcher is clearly on the take. Referee Johnson stops the bout.
WINNER: KUETHER by TKO (Referee Stoppage due to Strikes) at 2:25 of Round One.
I am a Ninja bitches!! Deal with it

Sounds like he got the better of the standup, but lost it on the ground.

The question is, does he do it again? That's the problem with MMA- it's not like, say, losing at basketball all the time. Hey, he gave it a shot.
