The record was set this year at 700 i believe by one of Jim Fungs wing chun student, although the purpose wasnt power so he was obviousbly retracting the arm as soon as it hit the mitts to save time and energy. I believe 700 is around 12-13 per second.

The only thing this teaches us is the face the practitioner pulls when he's tossing himself off (watch the video, you'll see what I mean). I for one could do without this knowledge in my brain, therefore I deem this excercise pointless.

When you use a boxers punch its now refered to as "t3h r34l punch"

yep I think any of us chunners could do better than that. Now 700 is impressive. Hell even I get 8 off in a second & it's been awhile since I used the lien wan kuen. it comes In "handy" on those lonely nights!
