    Hell yeah! Hell no!
I'm reading through your class list night now to scope the field of possible self-invites. To be honest, I'll be there more to chill with a friend and this event will largely be based around their work schedule so I'll get back to you on a more "That Day" post after I meet up with them.

Oh, and should I e-mail yer Sensei or will you just inform them when I finally get a date goin'?

And I'll bring a camera if I can find one and I'm allowed to carry it.

It shouldn't really be a drama anyway, but nonetheless you can't go wrong by e-mailing sensei's Kevin or Keith. Do not e-mail the teacher of tuesday's class as he has recently moved to Australia and the website as yet has not been changed.

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking sometime in the middle of next week so far, but it could change.

Three hours a week is enough to keep your level up.. A few hours outside of training? How about training every morning.
I can understand advancing at something quickly if you have natural talent and spend good time with quality instruction but 'cutting corners' will catch up with you in the end. However,
If your instructor says you are at that level, you cant exactly disagree? Can you?

Whatever dude. I havent trained in years and I bet i'd still give you a run for your money.

It's not like everything else I can just forget. You do anything long enough and it becomes second nature.

Bunkai doesn't have to be "watered down" to be useless. It's perfectly capable of being useless in its original intended state. Kata is not an efficient way to learn to fight. Bunkai is an extension of that inefficient training method. Everybody has a different interpretation of technique within the same kata. Everybody says they have the "real bunkai".

The fact is that there are thousands of perfectly useful techniques right out in the open for anybody to learn who is willing to practice. There is no technique so "deadly" that it deserves the time it will take for you to analyze your kata and find the "real bunkai". Find a teacher that knows how to fight and can teach you fight without so-called hidden technique.
