Athens, TN: Moises Contreras at Athens TaeKwonDo Plus

A friend of mine recently told me she's taking classes at Athens Tae Kwon Do Plus. I mentioned to her that TKD is pretty much ****, but she didn't really listen. She was raped as a child and thinks that she can fend off any rapist now that she's learned TKD.

Does anyone know anything about the school? Is it decent or is a normal shitty TKD place? And if it's as bad as TKD places usually are, can anyone recommend a place?

i know Mr. Contreras and he is a really good teacher, and no they do not mail order their Black belts... she is fine, if she likes the school who cares what anyone else thinks.

If you read the original post you'd know that it's not fine. She thinks she can fend off "any rapist" with her TKD training, which is an immensely dangerous fantasy.
