GIJoe6186 like boys, mainly his brother

I recently fought in the Empire State Warrior Challenge II near Albany, NY. The event had a few problems but everyone had their fight.
They are holding the event again this September 8th. PM me or reply to this thread for more info. The rules were modified NJ USKBA AM MMA rules. I am told any problems they had last time are being fixed.
I will be at the event as a corner as my brother GIJoe6186 and a friend plan to fight. Also the last event had 2 kids fighting (under 16 I believe) in a Shooto style match so younguns can compete. They had different rules and headgear.
For those who care for safety an ambulance was at the event with EMT's and no one was hurt, one or two fighters had small cuts, that's it.

How long did it take you to get there?

3 hours. Best car ride ever by the way. It's a drive from LI but most of the trip is on I-87 and LIE. 2/3 of the trip is just coasting on those roads.

thanks for the good press, I appologize for the probs, 6 fighters didn't show, over half the crowd didn't pay to get in and 2 judges and 8 volunteers didn't show either, we made due!
things we are changing!
#1 limiting the gyms this time, this is a gym on gym match get in touch with me first!
#2 coaches from the gyms will be officiating & judging matches that thier fighters are not in, our ref lied on his resume telling me he had 15 shootfighting matches, actually we found out he was only a preliminary wrestler on some local pro circut, he was afraid to make calls, I will not be!
#3 more workout area- less chance for matt & ring to get messY
#4 - we got robbed, this is a for charity event, yet some one stole 3 pairs of gloves ($180), & all of our dj equipment (about $850) worth of stuff This time we have a green room guy!
#5 - $20 donation to get in, then find seat, no back door,
Funniest quote from the event to me,
"All these fights are fixed." - keeping in mind I lost by submission in the 3rd rd,
My response' - "If that is the case I must not be doing a very good job huh!
L.I. Guy won by submission at :36 of the 1rst rd, quickest of the night great job.
Our event is not a rage in the cage, but it is a great place to get started, or just come for some intense sparing,
we also are trying to match white collar fights for anyone 34 or older, I need a
160/175/and 21olber in this catagory!
Thanks to all!
