The bigger the star, the better chances when negotiating deals -> bigger paydays. But I think UFC is paying way too little to the average fighters compared to how much they make profit these days. 8-16K for a fight is a pitiful sum if want to rise the amount of full-time fighters. Hopefully those guys get good money from sponsorship deals.
BTW. How much do fighters get in the smaller promotions? -

wait till the UFC lets in female fighters, and they start complaining about the glass ceiling in pay where they all make "73.5¢ to the dollar" of male fighters. Next thing ya know there will be marches outside Dana's Death Sta....I mean home.
