    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Anyone use this gear?

I'm looking at getting some new head and footgear from Combat Sports, as my crappy old dip foam gear is finally falling apart.
For the head, I was looking at this:

For the shins, I was looking at these:

I currently use shin guards and FC style kick boots, which bulk up my legs to the point wear I look like Megaman. I do a lot of MMA style sparring, and the leg gear does tend to slide off a lot, so I figured the MMA shinguards would be a good choice. Ditto for the head gear, which tends to get pulled around sideways and yanked off frequently. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these particular pieces of gear, and could validate/invalidate them as good buys.
I'm also a tad bit worried on the sizes. I'm about 145, which puts me on the bottom edge of the "large" size for shinguards. Likewise, "regular" and "large" are a bit ambiguous of sizes for headgear.

my kickboxing instructor said those were the best shin guards he's ever used because they don't slide around like most. Don't really know about the padding because his shins are dead.
