    Yeah, otherwise you can get your ankles fucked up. Even just the proper foot positioning isn't enough, your knee has to be over the ankle and not up on the foot at all.

    I saw that you had it set earlier but finished loose. Oh well the guy you were grappling obviously didn't know any better.

    Yes, it does, and this is exactly what the guy I described did to me directly after giving up to the bodylock. I got the takedown, I passed his guard, went for an armbar, back to my guard, reversed to mount, back to his guard and then MOTHERFUCKING FINGER LOCK. First he went for my wrist and when that wasn't working, he went for the fingers...

    Same guy, also fond of the chin-in-the-eye...

    Chin-n-eye is another thing I love.. er.... hate. I hate relying on a ref to stand things up. I'd rather, in a stalemate, put the guy in the most uncomfortable situations to get him to move and react.

    It's also worth pointing out that the more experience I get grappling the less I have to dive into the bag of dirty tricks.
