    This reminds me of a thread idea I had about crappling moves you use anyway, and there is one guy I use this on. As a grinding position. Because he's 30 lbs overweight and has shitty cardio but will break me without giving me a chance to tap if that's what it takes to get a sub in practice. He also has a bad back, or hips, or something that is aggravated by this, because last week he tapped to double underhooks-bodylock standing. It was pretty funny. So I body triangle him and hold until he freaks out, and sometimes he taps, sometimes he doesn't, but either way I pay him back for being a douche. Last class I got an RNC on him from there but he immediately cleared my legs, so I just dug my forearm into his windpipe and held on until he tapped due to the pain. I don't do that sort of crap to smaller, shittier guys, but this guy is bigger, stronger, and better.

    I don't think it should be a go-to move, but some people can't take the pressure on their backs and it doesn't hurt much to try. With most people, I'll apply a little pressure, but if they aren't bothered by it I won't waste energy on it.

    I was tapping to that exact thing not too long ago. But then again I think broken ribs and seperated cartiladge has everything to do with it.

    I try not to **** with peoples windpipes in practice. Not saying I don't do it I just don't reaf on it like I would in competition. I had a 340 pound mat spaz do a number on my hydoid and I couldn't swallow properly for a month.

    I don't know if you could really call it a tap. More of an asshole puckering pain that made me gasp, then wheeze, mumble "oh ****" in my Gabe Ruttiger voice and turn into a paralyzed crab...........

    I thought the question was well answered. Body triangle as a form of body control = good practice. Body triangle with the intent to be a jack ass = chronic dickheaditus.
