I would normally ask this on ADCC, but it's down...Can someone help me? I have a takehome test in one of my classes, I think I know the answers to these two questions, but don't know how to word them & want them checked......can someone help?

1. Define what the term '300 MHz' means

2. EXACTLY, how many characters are represented by 2 MB?

1. 300 Mhz means wat is says, 300 Megahertz, or 300,000 kilohertz, or 300,000,000 hertz. It's essentially a measurement of how much through put the device can do. a Chip running at 400mhz can do more than a 300mhz, or bus speed of 200mhz has less throughput than 300mhz.

2. That question doesn't make any sense to me. But what I think the answer might be is 2,000,000bytes or 16,000,000bits.

Tool, we were allowed to seek "sources" for this one...I did however pull them out my ass all by myself, I got them right too...thanks though..
