    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Ok, I'm up for making contact with this guy and asking him for the "katana" training, arranging when to go then turning up in monstuki kimono and hakama with my bestest Nihonto.

    Any other takers ?

Are you lauging at what I am laughing at?
I was laughing at the Krav, and presumably plenty of slo-mo kicking-in-balls and eyepoke training

I'm more up for re-enacting that scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark where that dude does some fancy sword swinging and Indiana Jones just pulls out a revolver and shoots him, with impeccable comic timing.

Here is a link to another Richard Farmer website:

    http://www.kravgb.co.uk/instructors.html

Plenty of other links at the bottom of the page.

Apparently Farmer is the man on the far left:

Sorry I couldn't shrink the picture.

Just as a little aside, I think it is possible to get a legit rank in kickboxing here in the UK, it's a carry over from it's karate roots.

Yeah, a lot of kickboxing in the UK has sport karate roots and morphs into kickboxing when they decide to drop the gi and kata but keep a grading system.

This isn't automatically bad, but I have encountered a lot of crappy kickboxing clubs in the UK that only compete in semi-contact and have instructors claiming grandiose titles like 'World Champion' when what they're really talking about is a semi/light contact tournament between 3 local clubs all in the same 'world-wide' association.

Don't beat about the bush Cullion, most kickboxing in the UK is a joke.

Thankfully we have some decent muay thai to make up for it.
