View Poll Results: best choreographed fight scenes

ok so from an arguement in the bruce lee thread comes this- which boxing movie has the best choreography in its fight scenes? while im a big fan of the rocky series (except 5 of course) I hugely disagree with kid saying the choreography in the fights is even remotely as good as classics like raging bull, or newer movies like Ali and cinderella man. SO POLL TIME
I was looking up Ali recently, and I remember reading that all the fight scenes in the movie were real. Not that they just put Will Smith and whoever in the ring and let them go at it, but apparently the director decided to have Smith actually get hit rather than use camera angles to fake it. Thats why it gets my vote.
yeah they were told they could hit him just not to knock him out. none of that passing the hand in front of the camera ****. I especially liked how closely they followed the actual ending of the rumble in the jungle, with Foreman sort of spinning around before he hit the ground, and his ugly ass phantom punch on Liston
If you're going to put a fake boxer up there, then I'll vote for it.
Although 'Raging Bull' is the more compelling and better film I would have to say that 'Ali' has the best fight choreography.
Also, and I don't want to nit pick here, but shouldn't 'Diggstown' be on the list?
Ali and Raging Bull have the best choreography because they have real life fights and fighters to base the moves on. That said, Raging Bull ftw.
I voted Raging bull only because I haven't seen Ali.

I've got to go with Ali, because they at least made an attempt to make it look the way Ali did.
Dude!!! What are you waiting for???

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris
