Brazilians aren't Hispanic, Brazilians are Hispanic. Th' point was, Griffin's statement was laced w/ racism. Be it heavy or not (and he's not a comedian, so it generally isn't "excused" under the context of comedy either).

1 - Hispanic (which Brazilians are not) IS NOT A RACE
2 - The point of the statement is that in IRELAND, an Irishman should win. This is akin to rooting for the hometown boy. I rooted for Lauzon in TUF in part because I am also from Massachusetts. I did not root against Manny because he is armenian. If I said I'd hate to lose in boston to an armenian, is that racist?

For the record I'm as Portuguese as I am Native American (something like a 1/32nd) so do I get to be offended about Brazilians (also of Portuguese ancestry) being lumped in with the other South Americans or not? Exactly which racial issues can I, as a mongrel, get offended about? I need to get this clarified so I can be properly offended at all times.
