    ya i know...martial arts suck... o well, glad to know your opinions bad or good.... anyway it's just an old style of sword play we used to practice back in the days before firearms

    just keep it alive coz it's part of my heritage.

    I thought the blade work looked pretty clean. Thanks for sharing. Do you have any stick sparring vids?

    Not a very impressive demo at all. I'm not a fan of the "opponent swings once and freezes" type of drills.

    our art is blade based.. we only use sticks for safety and substitutes for bladed weapons during practice. the reason he isn't moving is that the blades i was using were razor sharp and i didn't want him to get cut...

    It was still unimpressive. Why use a real knife at all if you're doing unrealistic drills anyway? May as well use a dummy knife and do something more live and realistic.
