There are still away games on Saturday nights. The Habs sell out every home game (since the lockout), saturday or not, so Dana will just have to suck it up and be flexible. In any case it's good that it's being pushed back because that way maybe they can have GSP fight. Assuming he beats koschek, he wouldn't have been available in october.

I'd definately go out to Montreal for a weekend to watch a UFC event when/if it comes to Canada.

Aren't TKO/Stephane Patry and UFC/Dana White in bed with each other somehow? How else to explain the fact that they recently moved from a ring to a cage and started having UFC-style entrances for fighters?

Yes. TKO is basically the Canadian UFC-minor-leagues. GSP was a TKO champ, as is Patrick Cote. There are probably other examples that I can't think of.

Man, if I had the money for a ticket (how much would this stuff cost?) I'd definitely trip up to Montreal for a live UFC event.

Quebec also has Apex, which has had guys like Tony Fryklund, Mark Bocek, Jeff Joslin, and Jeff Curran. I also think J-Lau fought in it too. I mean they didn't all start there, but the best overall live event I've been to in Canada was an Apex event last October. No hockey players on the card whatsoever.

I'm pretty sure Apex merged with Championship Fighting Series (CFS) or something.... and became "Hardcore Championship Fighting" (stupid name that appeals to pro-wrestling fans, but whatever) and are now really bigging themselves up by showing all their old events on the Score channel.

I meant bigging themselves up as in promoting themselves on TV and such. They're not really that big.
