He actually left months ago, I just had been on haiatus at my gym for a while and hadn't seen him. Probably, whatever the mood is, it's centered mostly around what happened at the muay thai event, which he knew nothing about. sBP isn't teaching for six weeks as a result, so I imagine that has affected the mood some. I have better sources anyway.

Nope can't say I have been although I did used to train under one of his sons for a period of time. I left shortly after the look of horror I got from a TKD instructor when I said I was taking FSD. Apparently Sijo assaulted one of his 12 year old students in the 90s on the street for no good reason other than the fact that the kid was wearing a TKD uniform. I don't know exactly how many of these FSD horror stories are true but that one freaked me out enough to leave. The kid actually, according to the instructor, broke a bone I forget which one. I was at a plateau in my training anyways and was thinking of quitting already at that point. In all fairness to my former instructor however, aside from the price and a boredom resulting from all classes seeming to be the same I can't say I was intimidated, beat up, or anything else wrong with the school in my own personal scope of experience. I didn't stay that long but I have to say all in all it was a positive experience and I do not regret it.

If he wasn't laughing when he told the story then something's fucked up. -
