I think I got a tumor from reading this. Maybe even a threemor. Maybe I can get me some of that 500-year-old secret cure, from the fsd vault, no less. They have vaults???

I also think Dan Quayle wrote that story. Potatoe eh!

Now that does look like jp, kind of, sort of.....

Anyway, after adding up the cost of the "embedded" ads, I tally about $395 before special discounts. Not bad!

And the best part about the typo Feng Shen Do is that fengshendo.com is still available for purchase.

I found it far more interesting to watch the people in the background practice.

For those of us who were never fangers, what's the significance of the maroon t-shirts, or the one kid in the grey jacket?

Well, clearly, it's to create a hierarchy in the classic cult-building methodology.

But when I was there, grey jackets and special t-shirt indicated Black Belt Club members, and I think the maroon is for assistant instructors. Full instructors got a black one. I remember when the owner of the Ottawa South location was given his black shirt, he was so proud. You know, before they screwed him over.

Actually, I believe the maroon jackets were for "Master's Club" members.

While I don't dispute you, I think the two were the same thing at the time I was leaving. *grin*

There's no way all the purple jackets were held by black belts, I'm pretty sure about that.

Or wait, 'Master's Club' isn't populated by masters, is it?

You're right. All you needed was to join the BBC, then you could join the Master's Club (for an additional fee, of course), then you would get one of those fancy purple jackets.

I recall a couple of blue sashes who joined the Master's Club - even though blue and purple clashed horribly.
