Well it's Chuck Norris' project, and that's his background.
Put that ring in K-1, with 4oz gloves, and you'd have the world's best striking sport. -

Well, I think you can still tell who the best individual fighter is in a weight class by their individual fight record. I think the teams aspect opens up an interesting new dynamic in that it's not just up to one guy to win his own fight, but others have to carry their own weight too. From a marketing standpoint, I could see it be easier for fans to get behind a team than various individual fighters.

Maybe, if the team names weren't stupid.

You know, I really don't understand the hate. Not your cup of tea? That I can understand. Especially from someone who loves MT and sees the lack of clinch-work as... lame. But all this "pathetic" talk just makes you guys sound like the disgruntled boxing fans ragging on MMA.It makes it hard contact point fighting and its pathetic. -

I do have some beefs with it like i said earlier, but as far as bashing them for wearing skin guards and saying that makes it point fighting??? In amatuer kickboxing we wear shin guards in most fights and i have broken a guess nose with a skin guard, Knocked a guy out with skin guards. Its all about technique. Those that bash on them wearing skin guards arent the guys fights "leg kick" fights once a month. **** it takes almost a month for your legs to heal after some fights!
