His ENTIRE sparring game there looks almost exactly like that of some of the best ATA point sparring guys I used to work with. Then slightly turn their back to you with their hands down on their upper thighs and their arms slightly in front of their bodies. Minimizes the available point zones. The hand up in the air thing usually came right before jump backfist attempt or some other flurry of hand techniques.

The MAJOR difference between this guy and the ATA guys I worked with is that this guy SUCKS at it. He's far too slow to get away with that, has no explosive power in his legs to pull off the jump backfists, and he lacks the confidence required to control the pace of the match and make that stuff work.

It also doesn't seem to be point sparring that they are engaged in.... so he's going to get his ass beat every time his single overcommitted technique fails.

Umm im amazed people are actually constructivley critisising his technique.

His technique was that of a Junior grade TMA style. Anyone above white belt at my old TSD McDojang could have kicked his ass.

For a supposed INSTRUCTOR his technique cannot be evaluated because it isnt anywhere close to that kind of level.

He needs to be shutdown, and also he needs to actually train somewhere for REAL.

Right off the bat I have these concerns:

1: poor concept of range. Most point sparring people actually have a great concept of range. Coda does not.

    2: Hand speed is garbage.

3: I cannot critique his punching because even a chunner would not call those sloppy slaps a punch.

4: Footwork was poor by any standard.

    5: Guard your damn head.

6: No combos. Common for a noob, but a BB should be throwing punches in bunches.

    7: Conditioning.
And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".

Being an old guy at 34, is anyone besides me absolutely floored at how bold of a liar this fat piece of crap is for such a young guy? Generally speaking con-artists are older, at least in my experience.

I honestly cannot believe what a con-artist this fucking kid is...especially the bullshit in the initial thread about him espousing Christian values and the like. To someone elses point, how can anyone possibly be THAT gullible to believe anything that comes out of this kids mouth?

And I had NO idea he was that fucking fat! Christ.

That fat tub of crap has never kickboxed a day in his pathetic existance. Coda if you're reading this, there's a San Shou school in Rhode Island that would LOVE to have you demonstrate your championship kickboxing skills on some of the fighters.

EDIT: Olorin, awesome job with getting the videos up there!!!

So basically, every single thing a world/national/state/local champion would need, amirite?

This guy doesn't need a real gym. He needs a shrink.

If you ever need to learn the art of turning your back in a fight, Coda is the man to learn it from. He has mastered that 'technique'.
