    Hell yeah! Hell no!
im not an expert either but i do know how to train at some level internally, using connection and generating power with minor movements.
its not as magical as some want to make it seem.
An important aspect of kungfu is fa-jing, whipping power.
This is the most simple one of three: whipping, changing and hidden power.
Some chinese use the yin yang symbol to explain it.
Some Japanese use the term 'to make 10'.( book:tales/secrets of the old red cat')
So far ive noticed that he's traditional work lacks proper fa jing, proper timing and connection.
    Not relaxed enough etc.
He's an average practisioner at best.
Which isnt a bad thing, he just shouldnt go on the internet yapping about beating people up.
Today he will learn the hard way.

    The concrete is wrong.
It shouldn't go down this way...

I have now watched most of anna's fight videos.
They were fine, but what really got my attention was the bagwork video
and the ko on the fat woman.

The bagwork video speaks for itself.
    But her footwork and her accuracy when she koed the big girl;
that is the moment I seriously raised my eyebrow,
more so than any of her longer fights...

    Absolutely!
Chinese is an insane language to learn, the grammar, the characters and the pronuncation, so i definitly respect that, and even more so: it's classical chinese, not even bussiness chinese.
So he's not dumb and he probably is a person who is more intellectual and sensitive towards cultures then he is a fighter, and he's going to find that out today.

Thats actually not hard to do when you are immersed on the culture and but forth effort to learn, even half heartedly. My wife and kids picked up German pretty well and that was from interacting in the community not from studying. The problem with language, and almost anything else, is that its a perishable skill. I actually met a guy who spent 25 yrs in germany afther he retired. He actually started forgetting words in English, his native tongue.

    Violets are blue
I don't use the return key that much
    And neither should you.

I'm with you though. I just can't fathom any good reasons for fighting on concrete. If you want to be all s7r337 do it on grass. Why unnecessarily include a big risk to the fight when there's absolutely nothing to gain with it. I agree with the previous posters that the only reason they thought it was to make Anna back off.

Chinese isn't that hard to learn grammatically speacking. Its pretty close to our own, enough to understand structure quickly. In contrast, Japanese grammar is very different from our own. The verb mostly comes at the end of the sentence and has different forms according to what you want to express. The real problem in Chinese is in the pronunciation. If you **** up the tone on one part you change the whole word. Characters are difficult but become more manageable when you learn to break them down.
