Yes, and also from the gazillion posts he's made on this site. He always struck me as one of the more thoughtful and interesting posters, though he had mostly stepped off by the time I delurked and started posting.

You know. I also have a fascination with certain other country's literature and language. I can also understand having a relationship with someone where every little mundane thing you do teaches you something or has meaning. I've met a couple of really brilliant authors who are like that. It does inspire a good deal of admiration and loyalty. Lastly, as much as it tends to be against what this site is all about, I do understanding undertaking an MA as a cultural experience.
He still earns whatever happens to him because of this concrete douchebaggery. I'm just saying that I completely get him up until that point. -
