    Hell yeah! Hell no!

I'm so happy!!! Found me an Airdyne!

Come to think of it, I really hate that fucking thing.

But it rocks, better than a treadmill imho.

It will be great to roll out of bed, get on the Airdyne while watching the news, jump in the shower, and then work.

    Getting it tomorrow, can't wait!!!

****, I wish I had space for an airdyne or a treadmill... I hate you!

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

Well when you pedal it, instead of the chain driving a wheel, it drives a fan. Which blows at a ninety-degree angle away from you.

So basically it's a subtle torture device disguised as an exercise bike.

Can you change the pitch of the fans?

The harder you push, the more resistance.

I like it better than the treadmill because it's full body workout.

    That sounds perfectly awful.

Just do the ellipitcal and pretend it hits hard like the rest of us.

BTW, did your back ever heal up to the point you can train heavy again? Since it is summer we need to start a new back exercises thread.

    Congrats.

I used the one they had on ship once upon a time, I enjoyed blowing air in my face.

My out of bed routine is usually a round of kettlebell swinging followed by a round of heavy bag in my den while listening to talk radio.

I have a treadmill but rarely use it. I'm 230 lb and it always feels like it's upset I'm using it.

If I were going to splurge on a cardio machine, I've always pondered a verseclimber

The workload meter on airdyne's is far better than what most bikes have.
