    Am I the only one who noticed this:

    怕 猴 偷 桃 - Frightened Monkey Steals the Peach
    on this link: http://forum.kungfumagazine.com/foru...t=43996&page=2

    Ona more serious note, I respect the fact that he is willing to demonstrate or take challenges, but the fact that he refuses to identify his sifu/sigung/etc is a tad suspicious.

    SifuAbel is supporting the "Monkey King"

    He seems to have something against Bullshido http://z6.invisionfree.com/No_BS_Mar...hp?showforum=1

    I gather from a cursory investigation that this is all relevant to the whole Omar thing?

    No. Very old drama that doesn't belong in this thread.

    I've seen and read references to angry/mad monkey.

    Oh my bad. Sorry about that.

    In reference to the OP, you said the instructor doesn't teach weapon forms?

    According to his post on the other forum, he teaches a whole range of weapons including an Iron Ring that I'm not familiar with (not that I'm an authority on these matters).

    Inconsistent claims by this instructor, coupled with questionable nutrition advice, unclear and secretive lineage, and a tendency to associate with less-than-reputable artists all point towards a bullshido claim.

    Okay here is what I found.

    http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/ezin...hp?article=635

    In the late 1800's northern Shaolin monk Lee Shao-hau developed a style of monkey kung fu known as the Angry Monkey, which he developed from six theories of fighting from various monkey fighters of his day.;
    Not much help but, hey that is CMA.

    Thank you, hooded monk. Seriously, Soul Assassin, read that bullshit from Wikipedia again. Does ANY of that sound like it's not bullshit? What on that list would you want to learn in order to defend yourself?
    Falling down and waiting for someone to wander over so you can upkick him? And that's the "most powerful" of the styles. No, that didn't come straight out of a kung fu movie . . . .
