Black Belt Registration
Is it true that if you hold a black belt you have to register yourself with the state as a lethal weapon? I thought I remembered reading in BlackBelt magazine that this was a martial arts myth.

Your hands and feet, yes. It also means that you cannot wear socks, shoes, or gloves without a permit to carry concealed weapons. It's even worse for Systema guys who learn to "punch" with their chest: Because the authorities are loath to give concealed carry permits to Russophiles, it's not recommended to get a high rank in Systema in colder climes unless you have a very hairy chest.
Do not, I repeat, do not practice an art that teaches you to body check someone using your hips.

And don't forget knees. I can't wear pants in Utah, Hawaii, California, or Nevada, with out my concealed weapon permit. In Hawaii it's no big deal because I usually wear shorts or bathing clothing, but in Utah in the winter it's a real bitch. And when I forgot the permit at the ski resort... it was ugly (and real cold), but what can you do? The law is the law.

registering hands and feet as lethal weapons
I only need to register my feet as lethal weapons during summer months, since I rarely change socks and wear plastic bags over my feet inside of my leather boots.

They're passing a law here to ban martial artists from catching planes, for fear of terrorist attacks or hijacking attempts.
The only option is for you to ride in the luggage compartment in a large dog cage.
A mate of mine also told me, that flight security here is putting a BJJ brown belt in the pilot's cabin as an extra precaution. They were going to use a TKD blackbelt, but apparantly they're not as reliable and can break the fuselage in half.

A myth? Obviously you haven't been to Ca. for w a while. Since obtaining my 8nc in fok yuuu I am now required to wear a condom at all times.
Be warned, Fienstien plans on putting this requirement in the next gun control legislation she authors.

So who moderates this forum anyway?
Did we forget to give it a moderator?
First person to post a picture of themselves with a glorious mullet gets the job.
