Of course I'm reading into things. It's part and parcel of communication, particularly on the internet.

What's important is acknowledging this.

In this case, your mention of 'subjective' seemed to be a justification for your unwillingness to debate it - as if it weren't 'objective' enough to warrant reasonable debate.

If this isn't so, fair enough.
