That armbar really does look painful.

Random aside: It's funny to hear about Ryan Hall losing, just because I get so many e-mails from Lloyd Irvin showing his victories and hearing about his accomplishments. I'm not knocking him, he's clearly a stud and is fun to watch, just strange to see the flip side of his victories after consistently finding them in my inbox.

Thats the unfortunate part about both Fowler and Hall- both are great competitors but people get wrong impressions of them due in large part to the amount of press they get from Lloyd Irvin. If you've met either of the two, they're two of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

Lloyd Irvin is basically the David DeAngelo of BJJ marketing, I regret ever giving him my e-mail address.

Thanks why I gave him a junk email address. It always helps to have one of those.

On another note, I purchased his (Simco's) BJJ begginers book and DVD set, the fact is, it's one of the few grappling DVD's that I haven't referenced back to and will probably never will. When you get some experience in (around blue/purple belt) and you look at the information, you realize just how unorganized and basic it all really is.
