ROFL. William Cheung as the "current inherited grand master of the system"... what a load. Perhaps you might say he is the self-appointed leader of the Yip Man Wing Chun style.

Perhaps you should look around a little and see that Wing Chun as a style is far more diverse than what many sad clubs know -- you wouldn't know this based on the fact that 99.9% of Wing Chun people do crap Wing Chun from this one lineage.
A good start might be to look at www.wingchunkuen.comLast edited by I aint punchy!?; 5/09/2005 1:52am at .

Re: what do you guys think of wing chun
The hood mentality is crippling disease, that attacks your nervous system. It makes you nervous of the system. Gangsters and hood rats are especially susceptible to this growth stunting mentality. The hood is where I'm from, but it's not what I am. The hood is where I'm from, but it's not what I am. --Keith David--Ice Cube

I think it depends on how someone trains. I study WC. I'd like to think that how we train is important. 2 vs 1, 3 vs 1, 4 vs 1, 5 vs 1 scenarios where we have to protect someone next to us while people come at us. We wear protective gear through class, shin guards, mouth guards, box. To apply what we learn as effective as possible without hospitalising someone.
