Using Donkey Guard to Sniffz Your Feetz

NO STANDING NOTHINGS!!!!!! especially in ammy fights. MMA's saving grace up to now has been the liberal usage of the TKO. When you're out you're out period, fenito, end of story. I have reffed some local cage fight tuff man style events and at first I was getting **** for stopping fights early but after explaining myself most people saw it my way. I stopped fights or the following 1) repeated undefended strikes (especially to the face), 2) serious bodily damage was about to ensue, as in a guy is in a deep armbar and refuses to tap cuz he's a macho bar fighter. As I see it these are under ammy events and this sombitch has a job he'll have to do in a day or so, I stop those. I let the stubborn bastards get choked out, that doesn't bother me at all. and 3) running away from the fight, as in, you turn your back on the other dude and run like a bitch. That's a stoppage on two accounts. One you aren't defending yourself and two, you won't defend yourself.
I totally agree that ammy rule should be stringent. But not unrealistic.

Just a note folks. All of a sudden the petition has blown up. I'm going to be drafting a letter to be sent to the GAEC to accompany this. I'm just waiting for a few more signatures, and I'm going to try to get a physical petition too that I'll have signed at some local fights.

i had 35 unique signatures last week (after having had this petition up for a while), now I have 217. So, not thousands, but all of a sudden it's up over 6 times.
edit: The fact that it's not thousands is why I want to get a physical petition as well.

How many of the signatures belong to people who live in GA?

If these rules stand Ga will produce some sorry fighters for the Pro rankings....And ecspeacially if we fight out of state...

The Georgia Athletics and Entertainment Commission (a dept under the Sec. of State) has made some pretty horrendous rules changes to Amateur MMA events. These are the new rules...
I have put together an online petition that I would like people to sign and pass on (PLEASE ONLY SIGN ONCE). When I have enough names, I'll print this off and mail it with a well written and researched cover letter. Thanks in advance to all those that contribute.
Here's the petition...

Also sounds like a good way to keep people from coming to GA to fight.

(3)ILLEGAL TECHNIQUES WHILE STANDING
· Knees to head -Kicks to Head
There's no way I can win under these/this rule. My kicks are my best friend.

Thankfully, i believe THAT rule has actually been repealed. Not positive though.

I can deal with no knees to the head as an ammy because I already do. The organization I fight in doesn't allow knees to the head/face for ammys and I can agree with the promoters motivation. For the promoter, his ammy events are to groom/weed out future pros for his org. And there's no sense in injuring ammys.
No kicks is an insane stipulation though. I mean if you outlaw kicks to the head then you might as well nix upper cuts and over hands and any form of elbowing.
