Warrior's Quest=Ninja LARPing?

I just met a Kenpo Karate student looking to trying something called Warriors Quest.
The only thing by that name I'm familiar with is Randy Wadsworth's MMA training group. He described it as what sounds like martial LARPing(ninja outfits,kobudo weapons,wacky techniques, no sparring). I did a search for threads, and found nothing. Is anyone here familiar with this group?

Ok, so now all you have to do is tell your friend that ninjitsu is silly, and was simply made up to cash in on a growing ninja boom. Friends don't let friends ninjer.
