Omae wa mo shinde iru!!!!!
Hokutonoken brother, I too am a long time fan ever since I used to wade through the Manga in Japanese back in the 80's. Knew enough Nihongo to make out names and tell who was fighting who, but that's about it.
Anyhoo, I'm looking for a cool wallpaper, but haven't been able to find any through google (keep getting a lot of hentai porn site results). Can you give me the hook up? Otherwise, I'll have to start practicing Nantoseiken in order to counter your Hokutoshinken. SHIN LIVES!!!!!!

Come on people! Won't anybody help out a fellow Hokutonoken fan? I'm just looking for one good pic of Kenshiro that I can use on my desktop.

Sorry I didn't catch this earlier.
Have you seen the Shin Hokuto no Ken : Cursed Road OVA? I think animation is great. It picks up after Hokuto no Ken 2. An intresting thing is that is shows images of Kenshiro training Ryu (Roahs boy) in the first volume. I wonder what will become of that?

Didn't anyone ever tell him a fat man could never be a ninja
You can't practice Judo just to win a Judo Match! You practice so that no matter what happens, you can win using Judo!
The key to fighting two men at once is to be much tougher than both of them.

For the BJJ & Subwrestling Tournament this weekend I registered my fighting style as Shin Hokutoshinken.

Did anyone get it? I thought about going to sport karate tournaments and making up forms as I went along, then telling the judges I did Himitsu-ryu (or maybe Saotome-ryu Musabetsu Kakuto).

Domo arigatou gozaimasu, Asia-sama. ;)
Actually, I've read most of the manga, but missed out on a lot of the anime. I have a really old anime that basically covers the first Manga. From Ken's defeat by Shin, to his reawakening, to his climactic battle with Shin where Shin fakes killing... (I can't remember the name of Ken's chic! Was it Mamya or something?) Anyway, he fakes killing her, but on his deathbed reveals that she had committed suicide.
Then I have the Movie, of course. And then I have a couple of the TV episodes of Hokutonoken 2. Where the two little kids are grown up and Ken's gone over the ocean and found that demonic guy, whose name also escapes me at the moment.
Unfortunately, my manga collection is no longer in my possession and probably never will be again! That included the complete run of Dragonball (40 manga) and about 10 of Hokutonoken. Damn.

Checked up to refresh my memory...
Ken's Chic is Julia/Yuria. Demonic guy was Kaiou-sama.

A little gift for you... www.hokutonoken.it
It's in Italian, I think, but seems to be a treasure trove of material. Enjoy.
