    Request

I'd like to request a tutorial video on Uchi mata or a link to similar as I cant find one anywhere. Exta help with this would be much appreaciated as its supposedly my throw. 6ft guy seeks way to harm people using his height as an advantage.

Started this thread in the Bay as it seemed appropriate.

If you're tall this really is a good throw.

Not the best links but links nonetheless. Hope they help a little. Libraries usually have a few Judo books, and Uchi Mata is almost always in them.

Uchi-Mata, even though its classified as a leg technique, has a strong emphasis on hands technique. Finishing is one of my main problems with this throw, I can usually get people off the ground but not turned around, mostly because I do not rotate and/or try to pull uke's arm to my chest.

This throw takes a while (at least it has for me) stick with it though; it's really effective, and it looks awesome when you pull it off.

Edit: Holy **** man you comment on youtube!? That's a little depressing!

No you don't, but its like screaming into a black hole trying to tell it to stop being a black hole or something.

    How's that Uchi-Mata coming?
