He already announced he's leaving. Apparently we were to mean. The internet is not a happy place for him.

I know I made his "Meanies" list,

I just hope he gets blood on my name when he stabs himself.

Although he is a troll, he does bring up an interesting question, so I'll post some info that may be of benefit to those who are unaware of the laws.

Even if firearms ownership is forbidden in your home country, if you move to the USA, and become a permanent, legal resident of this nation, then you *are* eligible to buy firearms lawfully.

If you're in Alaska or Vermont, then you can carry it concealed, no problems, as long as you are eligible to own a firearm.

If you are in one of the many states that allow concealed carry with a permit, then it's a mixed bag. Some states allow permanent residents (green card holders) to get concealed carry permits, others will insist that you need to be a US Citizen first.

Some states do not allow concealed carry, and the only way you'll be able to is if you're well-connected with the dictatorships of those states. For example, if you're in Illinois, you need to be a big time contributor to the Dick Daley Mayoral fund.

By the way, for all you felons out there,

You can't own a handgun without special circumstances, and those are extremely rare.

Yup. You'd need something on the order of a full pardon, or an expungement.

I don't think you can expunge a conviction...
