    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Charlie Horse

god, I hate having these. If you never heard of them (or my slang is off) it is when the muscles in your leg cramp up. Sometimes I get them after Crew, or while sleeping. My whole leg locks up, and it feels horrible, what I would equate to having someone pull a knife across your bare muscle. If anyone gets these, have you found a formula to get the pain down, or a good stretch before practice?

    Basically,
    During practice
    -Warm up properly
-Stay hydrated. Athletes will be normally dehydrated before they feel thirsty.
-Light stretch. Don't do ballistic stretching. See free column at www.stadion.com

    In general,
    -Stay hydrate
-Eat less sodium. This dehydrates the body when processing higher levels of sodium. Commonly found in junk food, fast food.
-Get potassium in your system. Bannanas are a great way.

    Search function.
