There are some great "traditional" practitioners, but I was responding to a troll.

Perhaps some of Tanemura's studetns should..... wait for it.... enter the UFC!?!!?

Funny, the cop I know teaches defensive tactics for the local PD. Even though he has an extensive TMA background, he has gone over to a MMA training methodology...

    .... because it works better.

Law enforcement and military instruction are abandoning TMA practices and gravitating towards MMA, because it produces a superior ability to actually fight.

If you think about it 'buzzword' is just a buzzword that was created to discribe words that became commonly used in a certain circle. Think about it!

Trollz must be related to hydra,

Does the warm weather signal the Ninjer breeding season,

or are the 6-12th graders getting out of school,

and using their free time to talk **** on T3h !nt3rw3bz?

Is there any way to highlite the offenders,

And call in an air strike?
If you can't laugh at yourself,
Others will be happy to do it for you. :evil6:

    Worst argument ever.

First, what is the OP's understanding of what aliveness actually is? Then, even if it is a "buzzword," so what? Are you saying the concept of aliveness is somehow flawed? Or do you just not like the word?

    You fail.

Cool, that's just what Matt Thorton says. Glad to see you train alive.

Doesn't it further demean your art if it can't even capture a simple buzzword?

If I were Matt THornton I would trademark"Alive", "Aliveness", and other such buzzwords and charge all you fuckers money to use them. (Didn't Dana F#ck!nG White trademark "submissions" or somesuch?)

You'd all be broke and doing katas in no time!

    sincerely, C.
I don't think MMA people 'act like they invented' anything. Most people come to MMA after training in something else, after all. It's not the fault of MMA people that someone listening and watching feels threatened.
There's no choice but to confront you, to engage you, to erase you. I've gone to great lengths to expand my threshold of pain. I will use my mistakes against you. There's no other choice.
