    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    cleaning your gloves...?

hey guys, searched around, but couldn't find anything.

how do you clean your boxing gloves?

mine have gotten pretty damn stinky, to the point where i'd almost rather not use 'em. my instructor (used to be a boxer) told me i should try putting in some sort of powder, then using a blowdryer on it, that it'll suck up the humidity and get rid of the smell.

don't have a blowdryer accessible at the moment, so while i get one, can anyone tell me how they clean their gloves?

fake leather? Into the washing machine they go.
You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there.

I just use regular shoe spray. Spray it into the gloves, cover the opening and it'll smell pretty cool after that.

I use antibacterial lysol. Works like a charm. Remember to spray both the insides and the outsides of your gloves.

I fold up some newspaper and slide them into the gloves after class, have done this from new, its been close to a year...no smell, newspaper soaks up the sweat and junk obviously.

A couple of the blackbelts showed me, works a treat.

Of course for currently stinky gloves I got no idea.
