So my last post in this thread was regarding the Floyd Mayweather Philly Clam. After trying it out a little, I've realized that it makes me more susceptible to sweeps, kicks, and takedowns. My next question is regarding the Archie Moore crossed arm defense that George Foreman uses? Any benefits in MMA? Is there a particular style of striker that this works best with (brawler, inside fighter, etc)? Also, does anyone actually know how to properly use it, because I can't find any instructionals on it and I don't know anyone that is familiar with it (besides my father who fought amateur in the 70's, but he doesn't know much about it either). I'm a relatively thin kid, and since people like Joe Frazier, Foreman, and Archie Moore are relatively thick guys, would this guard be a bad idea for me? Thanks to anyone who responds!

Btw I'm kinda taking up boxing as a side project outside of Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu.
