CBS' Mike Miller: UFC "the worst league ever invented."

In his efforts to hype the De la Hoya/Mayweather fight, CBS' Mike Miller decides to trash the UFC and MMA in general. This is probably hyped to some degree, because his colleague wrote a pro-MMA editorial (http://cbs.sportsline.com/columns/story/10164182), but Miller claims:

UFC has no charm
Football is more civilized than UFC
"Human cockfighting"
UFC should be banned.

Again, probably a lot of hyperbole, but what kind of fucking idiot puts that out under their national column?

This is what the Oscar De La Hoya-Floyd Mayweather fight, one of the most important events in recent sports history, really means: It's boxing's last stand.

Boxing is fighting for its life, and in some ways the largest obstacle to its rebirth is its greatest competitor -- the worst league ever invented, the UFC. Which means it is good vs. evil, Halle Berry vs. Courtney Love, true sport against the mosh pit of sweat and bloodied skull fractures known as ultimate fighting.

I don't see how anyone can take Mike Miller seriously... let's not forget that he get busted in the past for falsifying his credentials (i.e. lying about his college education). The guy's a joke.

Plus, his jokes are awful.

The guy is making a comparison base on what I can only hope is UFC 1, he didn't do any research, he had an agenda for this article and that's the end of the story
