No don't ask, I'd rather risk a temp Ban then prove I'm a BJJ Blue Belt

Oh, I'm sorry. It's just that in that other thread, you spouted off that Wing Chun "too d33dly to comp3t3". I simply deduced that you also think it's "too d33dly to sp4r".

Yeah alright mate, I've never said that Wing Tsun is too Deadly or anything like that.
    I DONT THINK IT IS.

    Your totally misunderstanding me!
Some of the Wing/Ving Tsun fighters i know(from my organisation) are now fighting in MMA competitions in Europe.

I just beleive its harder to adjust the training for MMA rules than it is with most arts.

That's some wicked backpedalling. You're even better than this guy:

and when Rules are applied...this becomes alot more difficult because you have to give careful consideration as too how you are going to attack.(when it should be automatic)

As someone who trains BJJ as well as Wing Tsun i just think that MMA rules suite one art alot more than another.

(another example is that you can't kick or stamp an opponent who is on the ground, this automatically favours the grappling arts over the striking)
So when you were saying this, you weren't trying to say that too many Wing Chun moves are dangerous for the ring? And if they're dangerous for the ring, how do you train them realistically during your training?

No thats Right i was'nt saying that! LOL

I was discussing how i think the Standard MMA/Vale Tudo Rules Suite certain Arts better than others.(if you cant admit that then i think YOUR in denial)

Anyway Q: You practice a CMA Do you think your art 'at least' matches what is being learnt in your run of the mill 'MMA gym' or Not? (if you dont why are you studying it?)

**** this ****. You took the time to create a new thread, and yet you still do not answer a question about your claims of BJJ training: http://www.bullshido.net/forums/show...&postcount=112

You still haven't answer the question Bear1980. What's your BJJ rank? How long have you been training? If you are not training now, when was the last time you trained (and again, for how long)?

Do I need to quote Tom's post to remind of you of this question you seem to be "forgetting" to answer:

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

And you got a Blue Belt in BJJ in one year?

    Going to two different places?

    WTF?

Please enlighten me as to why?

    Because he said so,

and he can back it up.

    Guess what guys?

Yep, this is going right back to the undefeated fighter thread.

    Why?

It is the same argument in a different thread. That way he can't back pedal from things he already said.

Now, if any of you can make a decent argument to keep it here I will.

    Go.

    Go.
    • You want more traffic in your sub-forum.
    • You want to decide what stays and what goes as the thread develops.
    • You want to attract more CMAers to explain why he's nuts over those "Redneck MMAers" he talks of in the other thread.

    Pick any two.
