It's not as uncommon as you think. My Coach has mentioned to me that out of all the members of ATT, less than 1 percent will step in a Cage/Ring.

Forgive me for being presumptive, but last I checked, you don't exactly like Aesopian, which makes me think you're asking this for a reason. If that's not the case, my apologies, I'm a douchebag, blah blah blah. If it is, keep this in mind: Aeso got promoted to purple belt partially because he demolished almost everyone he had a match with (including at least one purple belt in an open division) at Eduardo's last tournament. He dropped one match by points to a guy from his school, but also beat him in a different division that day.
I asked because I want to know more about the guy who is up on the pedestal right now. Not a hostile inquiry, but also not a purposeless one.

    Fair enough. My bad then.

The way I would put it is like being a member of a rugby club that has members who participate in social matches or formal matches.

    If that makes any sense

I train 5 X a week 2 days a week of BJJ and 3 days a week of HKD and I don't compete. I mainly just do it for fun. I am thinking of doing an mma card in August though. One of my friends fought in one a while back and he said it was a blast.
