Seriously guys, as soon as some fat ex-TKD white belt realises they can make $$$ at this ****, you're gonna be overrun.
Example: I think there are 4 GKR clubs within a 5 mile radius where I live... all run by different senseis (goes against the grain, calling them that - two red belts, and two green belts)... all working for the area Mr Big...
Insidious and virulent...
I used to be a GKR student, voluntary instructor, Self Defence consultant (that's what the minions at the bottom of the pyramid are called) and a trainee regional manager.
So if anyone wants to know anything I'm your girl-I hasten to add that I have not been a member of GKR for quite some time, just thought I'd let you all know before I got tarred and feathered
Hi Emma... I'm very interested in the inner workings of GKR and I'd love to get as much info as you're able to give... you don't have private message privileges yet, could I email you some questions, please?
If so, could you mail me at sochin101 @ hotmail.co.uk (without the spaces) and we can go from there.

Which GKR clubs did you train at?
I managed to hold out from being an instructor until I was 3rd kyu, by this time I was working for GKR full time so I bowed to the inevitable. Yes I wore the black and white belt but unlike some I had no problem telling students my grade. I trained in manchester
Thanks for the mail, Emma, I've replied with my first three pages of questions... LOL
A few years ago after finishing up a BJJ private at Elite Martial Arts out on the 10000 block of Westheimer, I drove west a little way before making a U-turn to take me back home and I saw a huge sign in a mall that read "GKR." I didn't have a clue what it was at the time and only later learned it meant Go Kan Ryu.
