Aiki-Jitsu Master calling out bjj guys on youtube

I was hunting for judo and bjj vids today at work when I stumbled on this

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4XQl3J-o-o

There is a comment not more then a few hours old where a self proclaimed aiki jitsu master is looking for a bjj guy to fight in AZ. If anyone is interested in it I suggest checking it out.

    he says
where did helio get the techniques from, traditional jj. and while the styles differ I believe that judo and traditional nonbrazilian jj is far superior to bjj. Im a Judoka and master of Daito Ryu JU-Jutsu and i chalange anyone of BJJ to a match, So to make things short if there are any bjj practitioners in the Tucson Pheonix area who are up for a challange call 520-318-4917 and ask for Ben

As a Judo guy, he probably has some experience rolling. He might actually be really good. Maybe he is karo parisian in disguise :)

The whole Judo vs BJJ thing is like comparing apples to apples.

I don't know much of daito-ryu, but I guess his judo skills will be of more use against a BJJer. Especially the newaza bits. And by then it won't be a contest between arts, but between artists.

If he's making that kind of post then his ground game probably sucks.

There is very little genuine Daito Ryu jujutsu anywhere outside of Japan. There are a few authorised branch dojos and study groups, but chances are about 10 to 1 that this guy is a fraud.

He must not be too serious about looking for a match/fight. There must be at least twenty schools large and small in Arizona that would be easy to find and who would probably be more than happy to accommodate him.

If he’s looking for a grappling only match they hold a Desert Quest grappling tournament every two months.

If he’s looking for a mma fight they hold between 12-15 RITC shows in Arizona every year.

If he’s serious about his “chalange” he shouldn’t have to look too hard to find someone who will take him up on it.

Of course he isn't serious. Half the people commenting on youtube videos are trolls. I always set up engagements via youtube comments.

WOW one of the rare times you see an Aikido gy admitting they don't know much about Daito Ryu. That is a good sign.
