    Purchase

Just bought one of these from another officer as my secondary. Got this, two speed loaders, a holster, hogue grips and two boxes of hydrashok for 250.

I think I'm going to carry it somewhere in my armor/under my left arm. I'm still working out the logistics for it. I'm not a big fan of the ankle holster due to my long legs. I think it'd be easier to reach into my shirt and start firing, then to pull my pant leg up, remove the gun and get a contact shot with little to no danger of over penetration to me. Any thoughts?

One more thing. Who the **** designed the opening mechanism for Federal ammo... jesus ****, I had to use a knife to pry one of them open already. Goddamned child safety bullshit.

Assuming you have your standard around your belt like most cops (please indicate if otherwise)

Then I'd go for a low side strap. So it isn't up in your armpit but it is still there at your upper torso.

But what the **** do I know?

That's just a bad idea anyway you think about it.

I saw this, however I could make something like this for $10 or less.

I've seen adds for Undarmor type t-shirts with a sewn in shoulder holsters. I've never talked to anyone whose had one, though, so I don't know if there are any issues with it sagging. That rig in the pic looks pretty slick.

With a pocket holster, pocket carry could work, although I have big legs and everything in my pockets prints--forget concealing a gun.

Without a holster, I wouldn't want to do it, but if you kept that pocket empty all the time and trained for it, I guess you could do it safely.

Desantis makes a cheap pocket holster, that costs around 15 bucks. It slides into your front pants pocket, and as long as you aren't wearing something too snug, it will easily conceal.

I always carried mine in the small of my back. The crack of my ass formed a natural holster.
