Ninja devices will deter theives from your car

My boss was seriously considering this stuff for our building after a spate of break-ins.
Alarm goes off, place fills with smoke so bad guys can't find their way out.
The security consultant almost had the sale until he told my boss it was non-toxic.

I heard you can make your own smoke bombs by mixing brake fluid and bleach. i doubt it's non-toxic though.

Scratch that... I get bleach anywhere near emo kids and we'll have several "cry for help" suicide attempts necessitating stomach pumpage.

Considering how annoying it is when audible car alarms go off because of a crash of thunder or someone bumping the door I am certain this is one of the worst ideas ever.

Also, in the event of a car accident, a vision obstructing 45 minute cloud of fog covering thousands of square feet is bound to slow down rescue work, piss off EMTs, get people killed. Imagine the scene now: bright shiny lexus plows into median on 4 lane highway, damage is minimal, but the super ninja fog anti-theft device goes off and covers all lanes of traffic, no one can see ****, dazed driver stumbles out of expensive super car, no injuries..... and is promptly fucking smashed by an 18 wheeler driven by some guy trying to figure out where this sudden burst of fog came from.

Stupid. Fucking. Idea.

Thats great! Not only does the fog cover up the attempt at breaking into the car, it also has a minty fresh sent. A must for every criminal. I could see criminals stealing the unit from cars since it provides such excellent cover.
