Ok, don't. Anyway, my point is that some studies were done and that, yes, excess protein did lead to kidney damage in several of the test subjects. What nobody seems to know, however, is that those test subjects were all renal patients. Let me break it down for you bitches like a 404: These people already had partial kidney failure. There is no evidence that protein has an impact on healthy kidney function.
You can be really conservative and recommend against creatine, but not even the ACSM says anything about high doses of protein. -

El Mono Repulsivo beat me to it. There are a lot of urban tales, all having to do with kidney/renal failure. I've even heard people swearing they know somebody who knows somebody who passed sharp, pineapple-size kidney stones with spikes, all strung together with barbwire from drinking too much gatorade.
The only thing that can happen when taking too much protein or creatine (for some people) is a severe case of constipation... which is why I keep a bottle of mineral oil in the kitchen :tongue6:Read this for flexibility and injury prevention, this, this and this for supplementation, this on grip conditioning, and this on staph. The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris -

I was guilty of this and paid for it by passing some of those monsters El Macho was talking about. It really sucked.

You have now idea how much I was fighting the erge.
My first post was going to be something along the lines of:
"Well, after witnessing this one video, I would say quite alot and apparently not only ingested but also topically. The massive quantity seem to have no effect on her so I guess anyone's concerns about 'too much' are not valid."
I, of course, fought the erge to post such a thing but you brought it up anyways. -
and good morning to you too

I try to get ~250g of protein a day (which is like .8g per pound of bodyweight) and I've yet to have any bad side effects.
Read this.

You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there.
